Dr. Chioma F. Nnaji, had her first degree in Chemical Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. She completed her second degree in Chemical and Bioengineering from Friedrich Alexander Universitaet, Erlangen, Germany where she specialized in Process Technology and Product Design. She was awarded a research grant from the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council UK (EPSRC) for her outstanding research in new product development and went on to complete her third degree in Process Engineering from University of Glasgow, UK.

She has been influential in various projects in the Industry (Siemens AG, Evonik Industries and Ingenza UK) and academia especially in the areas of new product development, formulation of Engineering theories and modification of software Engineering packages. She is the recipient of awards such as the Friedrich Alexander Universitaet, Vice Chancellor Award for Outstanding Academic Performance; was nominated and represented her University in project exhibitions held New Delhi, India and in the Prospective Young Industrial Engineers for Lonza GmBH held in Geneva, Switzerland.
